First Ballet Class
Tonight was K's first ballet class. It's Beginning Ballet for 2- and 3-year olds. They are smart, and don't let the moms stay in the class. There is a closed-circuit TV, so I could watch from the lobby. They did very age-appropriate things tonight, like stretches, standing up tall and reaching up, squatting down, motion songs like "Itsy Bitsy Spider," etc. K absolutely loved it! She came home and reprised what she had learned.

Tutu cute! Sorry, I couldn't resist! It's great that they let them wear a tutu in class. When I was in ballet, we only got to wear the leotard and tights - the tutu was reserved for the dance recital.
